After several news portals broadcast the construction on Saturday – apparently fake news about VMRO-DPMNE President Hristijan Mickoski, allegedly receiving 1.6m euros from Russian diplomats, evidence emerged today that the news was untrue.
Instead of preventing the government that is the biggest advocate in the fight against spreading fake news, it now appears as the author of the lies that it apparently intends to use as a major weapon in the early election campaign.
The fake news is clearly seen being cut by another piece published in Russian media in October this year in connection with a corruption scandal involving the Russian interior minister.
According to the comparison of the two news articles, it is only about inserting Mickoski’s data, while the numbers are the same, which is clear evidence of fabricated fake news.
