MPs reject Janeva’s request for apanage

The Parliamentary Committee on Election and Appointment Issues today rejected former Special Prosecutor Katica Janeva’s request for an apanage.

The Committee’s decision was taken unanimously.

Lawmakers also debated what they called “Janeva’s insolence in seeking such compensation from the Assembly”, adding that the right to presumption of innocence should still be respected.
