“Moldy food, horrible toilets, broken elevators and tons of garbage are the image of everyday life in student dorms. Yesterday students from “Steve Naumov” were left without central heating at these low temperatures. The heating system failed after the pipes burst, causing water to flow through the halls of the dormitory and students were freezing all night, said Valentin Manasievski of VMRO-DPMNE, who addressed the “Stiv Naumov” dormitory.
-The dormitories are ruined and the students are living in inhumane conditions. Not only has the situation not improved, but the conditions have never been worse. Moldy food, cold bathing water, no electricity, no heating, horrible toilets, broken elevators and tons of garbage are the image of everyday life in student dormitories, Manasievski said, adding:
“Let us remind you that the government in June this year decided to urgently reconstruct “Stiv Naumov “, so it took 4 months for the director of the State Student Center, Dario Nikolovski, to produce technical documentation for the remediation. So six months later, we ask again: How far along are the new elevators, where is the solution for the new toilets, where are the repairs to the roof of “Stiv Naumov”? How far along is the provision of humane conditions in the dorms? ”
