VMRO DPMNE nominates Nakje Chulev as interim Interior Minister

VMRO-DPMNE has nominated Nakje Chulev, a professional at the Intelligence Agency, as Minister of Interior in the caretaker government. The party said Thursday that Chulev has long-standing experience in the field of security policy and issues related to the Ministry of Interior.Chulev graduated criminology and received his M.A. at the Skopje-based University Ss.Cyril and Methodius. He has attended training programs in Great Britain, Germany, Bulgaria and other European countries.Chulev was the director of the Intelligence Agency between 2013 and 2017, and is currently working at the directorate for intelligence of international terrorism and organized crime within the Agency and is a regular lecturer at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ Diplomatic Academy.He also served as an advisor to the Agency, and was the first secretary at the Embassy of the Republic of Macedonia in Ankara, Turkey from 2003 to 2007. Nake Chulev is 47 years old and was born in Kavadarci.
