Despite yesterday's VMRO-DPMNE representatives leaving the PPP law meeting, a
public debate on the proposed text will be organized next week. This was confirmed
yesterday by the Minister of Justice Renata Deskoska, who initiated yesterday's
meeting.
The law is due to go through parliamentary procedure on Tuesday.
The government does not deviate from the red lines for the election and dismissal of
the State Public Prosecutor and the transitional and completed missions pertaining
to prosecutors from the former SPO.
A public hearing will also be organized during the week, with State Prosecutor
Ljubomir Joveski and experts in the criminal field being invited.
VMRO-DPMNE will participate in the debate. Party leader Hristijan Mickoski says
they will not back the law without accepting their objections.
