“The facts show that the realization of capital investments is devastating. Here you have a situation where you collect taxes, and you do not return them to the economy in a real way”, said Professor and member of the Executive Committee of VMRO-DPMNE Trajko Slaveski on the TV show “Utrinski brifing”.
Slaveski pointed out that VMRO-DPMNE stood for abolishing the progressive tax and not delaying it for 36 months and returning the flat tax.
“We are in a position to immediately change the law and abolish progressive tax, return flat tax, and not only delay and reduce the rate of personal income and income tax from 10 to 9 percent,” he said.
According to Slaveski, investing in human capital is not an increase in employees’ salaries of 400 or 500 denars, but investing in human capital implies investing in education, training of employees by domestic and foreign companies, in order to improve the labor market conditions.
-It is not an investment in human capital if you increase employees’ salaries by 400, 500 or 1000 denars. Investing in human capital means investing in education, improving health care, improving the situation on the labor market, training employees, that is, companies, whether domestic or foreign, that will train employees, give them skills that are modern etc. So it is an investment in human capital, said Slaveski.
He added that VMRO-DPMNE teams are in constant communication with the citizens in order to create a program that will solve problems and improve the quality of life of citizens.
-We have great teams that are in touch with what’s going on in reality, visit the terrain of the citizens including the business and the workers and will certainly find answers to their problems. What concerns the citizens the most, according to all surveys, are the issues of living standards, salaries, rule of law, protection of the environment, quality of life, education, health, etc., said Slaveski.
