Culev meets with SEC members, voter list to be submitted on time

The Ministry of Interior will undertake all activities within the law to ensure free, fair and democratic elections, as well as to guarantee the security of the elections, Minister Nake Culev informed at today’s meeting with members of the State Election Commission (SEC).

Regarding the voter list, Minister Culev emphasized that the Ministry of Interior will undertake all legal obligations and it will be submitted to the SEC in a timely manner.

According to the MOI, Culev said that on the eve of the elections all police officers will receive adequate training, and will be provided with additional technical resources necessary for the smooth execution of their duties.

As a result of the good and successful cooperation with the SEC, the statement said, a code of conduct for police officers will be signed.

During the meeting with the members of the SEC, Minister Culev, noting that the cooperation of the Ministry of Interior with the SEC is extremely good, emphasized that the Ministry is also available for deepening that cooperation in the future.

The SEC President thanked the Ministry of Interior for the good cooperation, which is extremely important for the exchange of information and successful implementation of the entire electoral process.
