Hiring new employees in the pre-election period continues. Job ads keep showing up during the pre-election period despite calls from anti-corruption officials that pre-election hiring is electoral corruption.

The Macedonian Post Office has opened an ad for no less than 280 new full time employees. The ad prompted immediate allegations of abuse of public funds in the pre-election period. Most of the job openings are in Skopje, and the rest are distributed across the country.

The Anti-Corruption officials, as promised, will carefully monitor the behavior of all stakeholders in the pre-election period and, if they decide that there is suspicion of corruption, will act on their own initiative and upon information received from the citizens.
