According to VMRO-DPMNE leader Hristijan Mickoski, how the “Racket” case will
end is not up to the politicians, but the judiciary and prosecutors.
He notes that no one in the country dared to call on the former Prime Minister and
leader of SDSM, Zoran Zaev, to give a statement about what was happening.
– It is clear to the whole public that Zoran Zaev and Katica Janeva have been friends
in the past and that their moves are the result of that friendship. Why this friendship
ended and how, I think one of the reasons is also the "Racket" case. On the other
hand, Zaev was friends with the owner of the media, that is, he was so close to him
that he even advised and asked where he could finance the media. He was aware of
the activities of the International Union working with local businessmen in the
country, and I do not see Zaev being summoned in the case of “Racket 2” to testify
for that International Alliance, in order to finally acknowledge that they financed the
television in a way they did during those months. No one in the country dared to call
on Zoran Zaev to give a statement on what was happening, Mickoski said while
commenting the latest outcome of the “Racket” trial.
