Analyst Sotir Kostov was a guest on the show "Analysis 24". He said the new law on
the Public Prosecutor's Office does not promote the public prosecutor's office but
rather it does.
Kostov emphasized that this law neither improves the financial or organizational
performance. Kostov added that 60 prosecutors are currently boasting that this law
does not deal with the issue at all. He added that such a law on public prosecution
does not bring anything new, that there is no development strategy and that there is
no model.
Sotir Kostov was the head of the Stip Public Prosecutor's Office in the early 1990s
after Macedonia's independence, from which he retired, starting his law career.
