Another patient with a respiratory infection admitted to the Clinic of Infectious Diseases

patient who reported symptoms and was admitted to the Skopje-based Clinic for Infectious Diseases on Saturday morning has been tested negative for coronavirus, the Ministry of Health said.

“The patient had travelled to the affected region of northern Italy and arrived in North Macedonia on Feb. 26,” the press release reads.

No new cases of coronavirus have been detected so far. The only coronavirus patient being treated at the Clinic for Infectious Diseases is in stable condition.

I talked to the consul in Italy this morning, there are no infected Macedonian citizens in Italy. The consul says that it is necessary for everyone to contact him, so that he can report all arrivals from Italy to the Ministry. But there are a lot of people who are coming from Italy, but do not report their arrival,” said Health Minister Filipce.
