Commenting on the European Commission’s additional report released Tuesday, VMRO-DPMNE opposition leader Hristijan Mickoski said he has read it carefully and agrees with it on only one thing – a request to start accession talks.
However, as Mickoski noted, the report “does not reflect the reality in the sectors listed”.
The opposition leader expressed conviction that, if that date comes to start negotiations with the Union, that process would be led by a new VMRO-DPMNE-led government that, as he reiterated, had an unchanged stance on the country’s integration into the EU.
According to him, if SDSM and Zoran Zaev form the government after the elections, the country will never get the desired membership.
