As of today, 5,300 Draexlmaier employees will be on paid vacation for the next two weeks, German company management said. The exact start of production and operation depends on the state of the coronavirus, as well as developments in the automotive industry around the world, the company said

“Due to the coronavirus situation, Draexlmaier employees are on a collective paid vacation from today until the next two weeks. The factory will be working on the technical minimum, machinery maintenance and the like in these two weeks. Of course, health and safety are at the forefront, so the exact start of production and operation depends on how the situation with the spread of coronavirus unfolds, as well as the developments in the automotive industry and the orders we receive from our customers,“ reads the written response from the company’s management.
