The Mayor of the Municipality of Gostivar and former Minister of Health, Dr. Arben Taravari, regarding the coronavirus epidemic and the measures you are taking, thinks they are being adopted late.

“The measure for students not going to school I think it should have been implemented much earlier, i.e. a few days earlier. The biggest mistake of the state strategy they made was the mistake of massively coming in from outside and failing to control where they were moving, whether they were staying at home. Most of them did not respect those quarantine days, to isolate themselves and so the disease started to metastasize in all cities,” Taravari said.

As a health worker, Taravari also said that not enough tests were being done and that there was a feeling that the government was in no hurry to insist on testing for coronavirus.
