The measure of 14,500 denars financial support per employee is well designed and about 24,000 companies and about 9,000 independent workers have applied for it.
Finance Minister Nina Angelovska said she was pleased with the companies’ turnout, and that there were reports that employers had returned about 500 employees to use the measure in the past few days.
Angelovska, as announced by the Ministry of Finance, said that “the turnout of companies is high”, and how many workers are in question “will be seen when companies fill out the form”.
Regarding the companies from the affected industries such as catering and tourism, Angelovska said that most of the registered companies in this field have applied.
