Although it is certain that VMRO-DPMNE is the winner of the next parliamentary elections, whenever they are held, still, the citizens’ health comes first and it must not be pushed aside, said Igor Janusev, Secretary General of the largest opposition party.
Janusev also adds that although the government is not involved in solving the problem with the pandemic caused by the coronavirus, VMRO-DPMNE as a political entity will be actively involved in solving this problem.
He stressed that although all political parties are ready to hold elections and their political programs are mainly ready to face, however, as he assessed, it would be “irresponsible” if the people’s health comes second, and the elections first.
“The election date cannot be set without any consideration, and then changed again. Therefore, all indicators must be considered and in accordance with those indicators set an electyion date”, says Janusev, implying to the June 14 date, which was mentioned by the ruling SDSM this weekend.
