At today’s session, the Government amended and supplemented the Decision on the implementation of the mandatory state quarantine of the citizens of Macedonia returned from abroad with humanitarian flights or convoys.

– With the new changes, if the persons entering the territory of Macedonia submit a PCR test for COVID-19 coronavirus carried out in the last 72 hours before entering the territory of Macedonia, instead of a mandatory state quarantine, they are referred to mandatory domestic self-isolation, the government said.

Mandatory home isolation is also determined for foreign visitors for whom the Main Coordination Crisis Headquarters decides in cases of state or economic interest, and who will submit an appropriate medical certificate with a negative result from the PCR test, with mandatory adherence to the protocols of the Committee for Infectious Diseases of the Ministry of Health.
