Seven COVID-19 patients have died in the country in the past 24 hours.

89 new coronavirus patients have been recorded in Macedonia in the past 24 hours, the majority of which (35) in Skopje, Health Minister Venko Filipce posted on Facebook Monday. COVID-19 cases were also registered in Shtip – 27, Kumanovo – 12, Prilep – 1, Tetovo – 7, Gositvar – 1, Strumica – 1, Kochani – 4, Sveti Nikole – 1.

Six patients, of which two from Skopje aged 83 and 80, two from Kumanovo aged 73 and 66, one from Struga aged 44 and one from Tetovo aged 65, passed away at the “8 September” hospital in Skopje. A 54-year-old patient from Tetovo died at the Skopje-based Infectious Diseases Clinic.

The total number of coronavirus patients since the onset of the epidemic is 2,315. Of these 1,569 people have recovered, 140 passed away, while the number of active cases in the country is now 606.
