The one who wins the elections will be the Prime Minister, and Albanians can win up to 20 seats, the DPA leader pointed out.
DPA leader Menduh Thaci called the DUI and Ali Ahmeti’s initiative for the first Albanian Prime Minister in North Macedonia a serious manipulation of Albanian emotions.
“Citizens decide who will be prime minister. The one who wins the elections will be the Prime Minister, and Albanians can win up to 20 seats. Therefore, what Ali Ahmeti is saying is a serious manipulation of the people and the emotions of the Albanians, because he will do something. They are in a dead corner and it would be great to see them cope with the role of the opposition,” Thaci told the media today.
Thaci believes the elections should be held on July 5.
“DPA is of the opinion that July 5 is the date when we should go to the polls. It can’t go on like this anymore. This is now a government in which political parties care more about their ratings than the seriousness of the situation. Everything around us, even in our country, indicates that this situation with COVID-19 will not last for two weeks or two more months, it will last longer and we cannot wait for months for the situation to improve and for us to go to the polls,” Thaci added.
