Higher living costs and retail prices in June

The cost of living and retail prices in June compared to May this year increased by 0.8 percent, while compared to June last year increased by 1.7 and 0.2 percent, the State Statistical Office announced today.

An increase in the cost of living index in June compared to May of this year was recorded in fresh and chilled fruits by 13.6 percent, fresh and chilled vegetables, except potatoes and other root fruits by 6.2 percent, dried fruits and nuts by 3.5 percent, beer by 0.9 percent, bread and cereals by 0.6 percent, sugar, jam, honey, chocolate and confectionery, food products, wine by 0.3 percent.

In June this year, the increase in the cost of living indices was also recorded in liquid fuels for households by 18.6 percent, fuels and lubricants for own vehicles by 9.7 percent, other services for equipment for own transport for 1 , 9 percent, bicycles by one percent, personal electrical appliances by 0.8 percent, home maintenance and repair services, large household electrical appliances, pharmaceuticals by 0.5 percent, small household appliances, hair salons and beauty centers by 0.4 percent, jewelry, clocks and watches by 0.3 percent, other medical products by 0.2 percent
