Slight increase in COVID-19 patients aged 30 to 39 and 20 to 29 years

Of the 917 COVID-19 cases in the period from June 29 to July 5, the largest
percentage (22.9 percent) were people over the age of 60, and 19.9 percent were
between the ages of 50 and 59. A slight decrease compared to the previous period
was registered in persons aged 40 to 49 years and a slight increase in the
percentage in persons aged 30 to 39 years and from 20 to 29 years.

This is stated in the report of the Institute of Public Health for the indicated period in
which it is stated that the lowest number of new cases is in children aged up to nine
years – 3.1 percent and from 10 to 19 years – 4.1 percent of the total number of new
patients.
