University professor Tanja Karakamisheva stressed that the voice of citizens must have value. They must not stay at home because it will be abused.
“Here we are talking about stuffing boxes. We didn’t have a vote for two or three seconds. VMRO-DPMNE has filed 12 criminal charges and the Public Prosecutor is still silent. This will happen in these elections as well, if the citizens stay at home. So someone will use their sitting at home to fill the boxes. The higher the turnout, the lower the chance that Zaev and his gang will fill the boxes,” says Karakamisheva.
The second thing, about those people who are not happy with the two big political parties and voting of small parties.
“It is legitimate for every citizen to assess whether he will give it to a large coalition or to small parties. But, he must not forget that whoever decides to vote for a small party that in all past processes, since 2006 I have been following them, we have 100 thousand such votes given for small political parties that are left out, not represented.”
