A classic election tampering took place this morning in Veles and the surrounding
area. Readers of Republika.mk reported that additional 2,000 denars were delivered
to recipients welfare by mail today. The money arrived at their home address at a
time when the election process is underway.
As the news website finds out, a search was made and the list of persons to whom
the money was to be delivered was found. Election tampering is a major topic on
social media today. A few even confirm that they received money.
About 500 families that receive welfare, care for another person and assistance for a
third child reported receiving money.
SIA Veles says that there are no such reports.
– We do not have such information. A lot of information appears during the elections
that needs to be checked, say the police.
