137 new COVID-19 cases, 9 patients die in the past 24 hours

Of 1,542 tests conducted in the past 24 hours, 137 new COVID-19 cases were registered in the country.

Nine patients died, including three people from Skopje, two from Kumanovo and Gostivar and one patient from Shtip and Struga each.

The Institute of Public Health registered 103 recovered patients.

Since the onset of the epidemic, Macedonia has registered 9,934 confirmed coronavirus cases, while 5,357 people have recovered. Death toll has reached 460. At the moment, there are 4,117 active cases in the country.
The country’s capital Skopje, with almost half of the country’s total population, tops the list in terms of the number of registered cases – 4,569, of which 1,920 are currently active.
