VMRO-DPMNE leader Hristijan Mickoski and party MPs will meet President Stevo Pendarovski on Thursday afternoon to hear the arguments and proof based on which he handed over the government mandate to SDSM leader Zoran Zaev.
“President Stevo Pendarovski gave the mandate to the MP Zoran Zaev without proof that he has secured a majority,” said Mickoski.
He accused that this act violated the Constitution.
“Today we witnessed an obvious violation of the Constitution, and as of today Pendarovski is an active participant in this violation. Without any arguments, he handed the mandate to Zaev without him having any proof of secured majority. MP Zaev himself said that there is no majority. The President of the country was an active participant in declaring a state of emergency according to the needs of Zoran Zaev and SDSM to organize the elections,” said Mickoski.
