The psychiatric clinic reported on Friday that about 4,000 telephone calls had been made for mental health support to citizens during the COVID-19 pandemic starting in March.
The first mental health support line, which was opened on March 15 this year for adults in self-isolation throughout the period, including weekends and holidays, which is available every day from 8 am to 8 pm, has realized more than 2,200 conversations.
Another two help lines were opened in March, one of which for mental health support of parents of preschool and school children by PHI University Clinic of Psychiatry Skopje, as well as other telephone lines for psychosocial support of persons of different categories in cooperation with UNICEF – Psychosocial support to parents of children with disabilities and psychological support to adolescents, where a total of more than 500 conversations were made.
