If VMRO-DPMNE gives up its right deputy Parliament Speaker, SDSM will do the same. This was stated on Friday by SDSM leader and Prime Minister-designate Zoran Zaev, who attended the celebration of the Assumption of the Holy Mother of God in Makedonska Kamenica.
“If VMRO-DPMNE gives up its deputy Parliament Speaker, SDSM will do the same, which will give the smaller parties a chance. This time the number of deputy speakers has been determined and indeed both VMRO-DPMNE and SDSM can have one deputy speaker each, which means that then the three seats would be left for the smaller political communities in the country. One deputy Parliament Speaker receives a salary that is 100 to 150 euros higher, it is not about the size of the cost, probably because they have a bigger office, but today every MP has his own office, but the essence is whether we listen to the voice of the citizens. If VMRO-DPMNE gives up, we will do the same,” said Zaev.
