There was no plan for storming the Parliament during the constitutive session on April 27. No one talked about that, said VMRO-DPMNE MP Nikola Micevski at Friday’s hearing on the April 27 events.

He went on to explain that they had regular coordination in the Parliament for the course of the session, but not that they knew what was going to happen.

He explained Article 78 paragraph 2 of the Rules of Procedure for changing the agenda of the Session as requested by the MPs from the then opposition, as well as Article 80, which states that the search of all that applied must end.

“As a citizen I have participated in several gatherings in my city and I have given my support. I was surprised by the mass of events and that there were members of SDSM. VMRO-DPMNE did not have a position on this movement in the party bodies, but support was given and there was no jump whether someone should attend or not,” said Micevski.

He is confident that none of the defendants communicated with the local committees, nor did he give instructions or interfere in this movement.
