Zaev negotiated details with Borissov in a phone call ahead of visit to Sofia

Prime Minister Zoran Zaev and Bulgaria’s Prime Minister Boyko Borissov discussed in a phone call several areas of cooperation between the two countries, the Government informs.

Zaev and Borissov also focused on discussing the Berlin Process and the joint presidency, deemed of great importance for regional cooperation and integration of the region into the EU. Their phone call also included preparations for the upcoming Sofia Summit, set to take place in November.

The two prime ministers also discussed joint cooperation to protect public health from the spread of COVID-19, having in mind Bulgaria’s experiences in providing personal protective equipment.

The pledge of the prime ministers, the two countries and the citizens to use the opportunities at disposal so as to improve economic cooperation was underscored, said the press release.
