None of the MPs who were in contact with Laze Tanevski and Ismail Jahoski will need to self-isolate. The Center for Public Health in Skopje has completed epidemiological surveys and the assessment is that there was no risk, TV24 reported.

The protection measures were respected, we concluded that there is no need for isolation for other MPs or employees in the parliamentary services, Public Health Center director Aleksandar Stojanov told TV 24.

While Ismail Jahoski is hospitalized at the Infectious Diseases Clinic and Laze Taneski is isolated at home, as COVID-19 positive, the Minister of Health recommends that the Parliament start working online, and the same recommendation was given by Prime Minister Zoran Zaev, who announced that the government will work online.
