Macedonia and Kosovo have excellent bilateral relations and good trade exchange, and the holding of the first intergovernmental session will be an additional impetus for further development and intensification of mutual relations, said PM Zoran Zaev and his Kosovo counterpart Avdullah Hoti at today’s joint press conference in Skopje.

The two prime ministers discussed dealing with the corona crisis, the intergovernmental conference, but also the construction of the Skopje-Pristina highway. In a pandemic, when the borders between the two countries are open and travel without PCR tests, the Kosovo Prime Minister said that the line ministries are in constant communication and that if more serious steps need to be taken, it will not be to restrict entry and exit, but for the protection of the citizens of both countries.
