Healthcare is being mobilized. All employees in this sector are prohibited from taking annual leave, paid and unpaid leave. Such an order was sent to all health institutions after the Government’s decision was published in the Official Gazette
According to Sitel TV’s information, some medical professionals from the clinics were told that they could not even take sick leave or days off for private obligations, and their duty hours would be further increased if necessary.
With a government decision, the specializations and subspecializations of all employees in the Health Center Skopje have been stopped and they are to return to their jobs. After the reaction of about 250 private trainees that they do not have health insurance while treating patients, the Health Minister said that they will initiate legal changes to solve this problem.
