Prime Minister Zoran Zaev said on Sunday that it’s becoming more and more evident that Bulgaria will block Macedonia’s EU accession talks.
I’m ready and have prepared the Macedonian people for a veto, which is becoming more and more likely. However, I never lose hope, because as politicians we bear great responsibility. Sending a negative message could reflect badly on both sides. We need friendship and a helping hand on our European path,” Zaev said.
He believes that the two nations have a common history from which the two countries and the two languages that have a common Slavic origin originated.
