The drug “Favira” or “Favimol”, with the generic name “Favipiravir” will be available in Macedonian pharmacies this week, after the Agency for Drugs and Medical Devices approved the import and availability for treatment of patients.
“Following the current situation we are facing COVID-19 supported by the increasingly frequent requests of doctors involved in the treatment of this disease, for the availability of the drug, the Agency for Drugs and Medical Devices approved the import and availability of the drug Favipiravir for the final users – patients,” Malmed said in a statement.
