Person positive for COVID-19 voted in the Shtip mayoral elections

A person positive for COVID-19 went to the polls and voted in the mayoral elections in Shtip. The person was ordered into self-isolation, which has been confirmed by the police.

Observers were asked to suspend voting. The MEC did not interrupt the voting.

Persons who voted, but should have been in isolation, voted at polling stations 2252 (one person), as well as married couples at polling stations 2265 and polling stations 2276.

The Ministry of Interior confirmed the case.
