Mandatory two-week isolation for arrivals, proposes Infectious Diseases Commission

Ministry of Health informed on Monday that the Commission for Infectious Diseases has adopted a a new restrictive measure – a two-week self-isolation has been made mandatory for all UK arrivals.

The Commission for Infectious Diseases proposed this restrictive measure at its Monday meeting, following news that a new coronavirus mutation has been spreading across England. According to initial epidemiological analysis, this new coronavirus strain is more transmissible, the press release read.

Earlier on Monday, the Health Ministry said that the Infectious Diseases Commission is currently not looking into proposing additional restrictions for entry into North Macedonia, such as mandatory PCR test.

The Health Ministry calls on travelers and transport organizers to abide by health protocols.
