This is the way this non-transparent and criminal government works. The Parliament works in the same way in the late evening hours. Although they did not inform us about the resumption of the session after 6 pm according to the Rules of Procedure, we remain with active filibustering to prevent them in their intention to smuggle laws out of the public eye, said Nikola Micevski, Coordinator of the VMRO-DPMNE parliamentary group.

The Government is trying to push this law, acknowledging Makpetrol a 50 percent share of the pipeline through the back door, without providing the necessary information and without consulting the public, and it will be paid at an unrealistically high price of 33 million euros, although itself the government says that the value of Makpetrol’s stake is 18.8 million euros.

The question is why the Government wants to pay Makpetrol an extra 14.2 million euros?
Why does the State Attorney not want to give permission to Prime Minister Zaev to sign the agreement?

Why is the law passed in the Parliament, something that has never happened before in the history of the Republic of Macedonia?
That is why the parliamentary group of VMRO-DPMNE and the coalition is doing everything with long speeches to block the work in order not to misuse 33 million euros of public money. We remain in the Parliament to expose all the corrupt plans of the Government and this criminal government.
