It is still unknown if and when the Macedonian military representative in NATO Colonel Zoran Sekulovski will receive a security certificate and will leave for Brussels. Minister of Defense Radmila Shekerinska, during Tuesday’s visit of the light infantry battalion in Shtip, said that the rigorous NATO checks take time.
She pointed out that so far three groups of about forty people have been sent from the Ministry of Defense and the Army, some of whom have received security certificates so far, for some the procedure is ongoing. The request of only one representative of the Ministry of Defense was rejected.
