The public is waving the topic with the mother from Debar, and even after 4 months there is still no responsibility from the competent institutions for the case.

The story of J. Veaposka from Debar is a case that reflects the situation in the Macedonian public health: corruption, incompetence, lack of state control over doctors and health processes and, finally, irreparable consequences for patients.

Veaposka, an ambulance nurse, went through a real hell after giving birth in a hospital in Struga by caesarean section, but came out of the operation without a uterus, kidney and one ovary. They persuaded her that everything was alright with her, so that in the end she could go home missing three organs and no one is held responsible for it.
