If the government does not withdraw the draft law, the opposition VMRO-DPMNE will start a procedure for collecting signatures requesting the annulment of the census law. The party says that documents are being prepared, which should be submitted to the Ministry of Justice in order for that action to be carried out on the ground.

Party spokesperson Naum Stoilkovski said the law has no methodology and there are indications that it will not be conducted as a statistical operation.

Answering media questions, Stoilkovski explained that the action for collecting signatures would be carried out through the regional units of the Ministry of Justice, and people would be able to sign in the regional units in the cities.
