After the region started the vaccination, President of the Republic of Serbia Aleksandar Vuchic said that by June, five or six different vaccines against coronavirus will be available in Serbia. Currently in Macedonia, vaccines are only announced by the authorities.

The plan of the health authorities is for Macedonia, through the three options – COVAX mechanism, direct agreements with producers and assistance from the member states of the European Union, to provide about 2.4 million doses, which is enough to vaccinate 1.2 million citizens.

As Health Minister Filipche says, more than 19,000 people have been vaccinated in Serbia so far, and a million Chinese vaccines have already arrived Saturday.
