Results of the analysis performed at the MANU lab show that a coronavirus mutation, similar to the one that appeared in Britain, has not been detected in Macedonia, Health Minsiter Venko Filipche said on Friday.He stressed that the original virus variant is still present in the country.
“Although the only the original variant is present, we can’t ease measures. Even though the number of new cases is decreasing, we still have to be careful, because schools just reopened. Protective measures remain in force. We’ll analyze the situation next week and propose measures and recommendations based on it,” Filipche said.
