We cannot talk about a statistical process, if there are no legal guarantees for that in the law

Professor Gordana Siljanovska Davkova from the ranks of VMRO-DPMNE in an interview with the “24 Analiza” show said that we cannot talk about a statistical census if the law does not have legal guarantees for that. She said democracy means well-established rules and an uncertain outcome. She cited the census law in Croatia as an example. Our census has uncertain rules.

“Only those that are here are residents, and those outside are residents of another country, but they also have Macedonian citizenship. I do not see their purpose in listing them, because they have education, health insurance, pension and everything else in the other country. No international standard speaks about citizens of a country who have been abroad for more than 12 months, because they enter the census table abroad,” said Siljanovska Davkova.
