Kumanovo Mayor Maksim Dimitrievski reacted to a proposal made by former Prime Minister Ljubcho Georgievski on how to resolve the dispute with Bulgaria.
“The action plan proposed by former Prime Minister Ljubcho Georgievski is shameful and humiliating for Macedonia and the Macedonian people. These attitudes directly destroy our Macedonian roots, undermine the pillars of the existence of the Macedonian state, history, language, identity and culture with the ultimate goal of decoding Macedonianism. If the former prime minister has any virtue and awareness, he should urgently return his Macedonian citizenship and apologize to the entire Macedonian people,” Dimitrievski wrote on social media.
He also urges the Public Prosecutor’s Office to open an ex-officio case, to conduct an investigation and if it finds responsibility for such a proposal which is unconstitutional, then to file criminal charges for an act against the state and undermining and destroying the constitutional order.
