The Government adopted Tuesday a report on the project for digitization of consular services in North Macedonia’s diplomatic-consular offices abroad.
Digitization of consular services (e-consulate) is a necessity for the purpose of modernizing the operations of diplomatic-consular offices, with the ultimate goal being fast, efficient and cost-effective services for our nationals abroad, which has been become evident during the COVID-19 crisis, the Government said in a press release.
It adds that e-consulate incorporates digitization of consular services – application procedures, online payments and obtaining documents in person or by mail – thus making the procedure of obtaining documents easier and faster.
