Hospitals almost at full capacity – 1,581 COVID-19 patients treated nationwide

Over the past 24 hours, 77 people were admitted to Skopje’s COVID centers for coronavirus-related complications and 75 were discharged from hospital to recover at home. This brings the number of patients hospitalized with coronavirus to 654 in Skopje and 927 nationwide. Many are on oxygen, according to the Ministry of Health on Wednesday.

The total of coronavirus hospitalizations in Macedonia’s infectious disease units is 1,581 at the moment.

Over the past 24 hours, 44 people were admitted to the Mother Teresa State Clinical Center clinics. Fourteen people were admitted to the COVID center within the September 8th City General Hospital; 15 to the Clinic for Infectious Diseases. One person was admitted to the Kozle Institute of Respiratory Diseases in Children, and three to the Clinic for Pediatric Diseases.

Currently hospitalized at the Mother Teresa State Clinical Center clinics are 304 people. A total of 142 people infected with the coronavirus are treated at the September 8th hospital; 147 at the Clinic for Infectious Diseases; 39 at the Kozle Institute of Respiratory Diseases in Children; 19 at the Clinic for Pediatric Diseases; and seven at the Clinic of Gynecology and Obstetrics.
