Event industry organizers protested Monday in front of the Government demanding a solution to the situation in this sector, which due to the pandemic and work restrictions has dropped by 62 percent.
The Macedonian Event Industry Association (IVAP) says that what the Government is presenting these days as assistance, is neither assistance nor is it planned to cover all affected companies.
“According to the official statistics of the Central Registry, our sector has a decline in turnover of 62 percent for 2020 and it is perhaps the highest decline compared to other industries. Our companies are on the verge of collapse,” said the IVAP Association.
