Although hospitalizations have been slightly declining in the past few days, the situation is still serious and COVID centers are under a lot of pressure, Health Minister Venko Filipche posted Friday on Facebook after holding a meeting with heads of Skopje-based coronavirus units.
At the moment, the Minister added, there are enough beds for all patients who require hospital treatment.
“I expect the number of hospitalized patients to start dropping in the upcoming period. Measures are producing results, but we have to abide by them fully to overcome this epidemiological wave,” wrote Filipche.
