Albania is introducing a two-week quarantine for travelers from North Macedonia and Greece starting April 20.

The decision, in place until May 3, was made by the committee of experts tasked with tackling the pandemic.

Albania starts feeling the effects from the mass vaccination, said Mira Rakacolli, deputy health minister and committee chairwoman.

“However, the situation is different in our neighboring countries. North Macedonia and Greece have been registering a rise in the number of coronavirus cases and fatalities,” she said.
