European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen said Tuesday that the EU will deliver 119,000 vaccines to North Macedonia.

“As I told Zoran Zaev, we stand by our neighbours and partners in the Western Balkans. 119,000 vaccine doses will arrive in North Macedonia as of May until the end of August. We are in this together,” tweeted von der Leyen.

With the support of Austria, the EU will deliver 651,000 doses of vaccines, funded by the EU, to the Western Balkans.
